Quick Garden Project

We have a small little garden in the backyard. Every year we've been here, we've struggled with the grass growing into the garden as the wood edging was decaying. We did a quick little weekend project a few weeks back and it turned out pretty good!

Aquarium at the Mall of America

We had a mini-vacation back to Minnesota for the Memorial Day holiday. We were able to see both sides of the family and spent a night up in the Twin Cities as well. We took Westin to the aquarium at the Mall of America to see the fish. He loved the tropical fish but unfortunately, there really weren't many of those :( The aquarium {in our minds} wasn't worth what we paid for admission but I imagine it's not cheap to keep a big aquarium like that up and running.

Life became a little too busy when Westin was turning four months and therefore I don't have anymore side by side outfit comparisons :( I do however continue to take his monthly picture with the elephant. Here are his 5 and 6 month photos.

He's growing up so fast. His smile melts my heart on a daily basis. He has the most gentle personality - he's just so sweet!

Summer Time... Swing Time....

At the beginning of May, we put a swing for Westin on the swing set in the back yard. I think he'll have to grow into swinging outside as he wasn't quite sure what was going on.

Westin's Great Grandparents

I feel so blessed to have some of the best grandparents around! When we were back in Minnesota this past month, we were able to make a quick stop by the nursing home for them to see Westin. These pictures are priceless to me :)
