This past Friday I had a "big" milestone - I turned 30! My birthday was pretty low key. Between having a newborn at home and not getting a lot of sleep at night {or during the day for that matter} I was just happy to be awake past 9pm - ha! We were able to get hockey tickets to the UNO vs UMD game {for free!}. Not only did we get eight free tickets, the tickets were to one of the suites. Ryan, me and our friends had the suite to ourselves for the night. It was pretty nice! In addition to suite tickets, we also got parking passes to the ramp
connected to the civic center. It was nice to 1) not have to pay for
parking and 2) only have to walk 50 feet to the game instead of 3 blocks
in the freezing cold! We took Westin with as well so he was able to experience his first college hockey game. He slept for the first period and was awake for most of the rest of the game. He did really well. He is a pretty chill baby for the most part.

So sleepy and bored since the game didn't have a lot of action for the first two periods. |
|
Irritated that there were still no goals being scored. |
|
Yep still bored but cute as ever. |
|
Westin's BFF Pat joined us for the game. Pat loves Westin and wanted to give him lots of hugs. |
|
Too bad this turned out a little blurry :( |
Eventually the game became a little more lively and Duluth ended up winning. The perfect ending to the night was that Westin actually slept pretty well that night too! What more could a parent ask for!?!
