We've got another Dyson!

Before Ryan and I got married, I received a Dyson vacuum from my parent's for one of my bridal showers. This is the best vacuum in the world. It is a Dyson animal vacuum and it is a necessity if you own any furry friends. For a awhile, Ryan and I have been looking at getting a Dyson hand held vacuum to help control when the cat liter down in the basement. {If only we could get the cats to stomp their feet on the mat after they finish doing their business, but that's never going to happen as Zoey bolts out of the liter boxes when she is finished - I don't blame her, if she didn't bolt fast, she'd likely pass out!} Anyways, we've looked, we've considered buying but never gotten around to it.  Another reason why I wanted a Dyson handheld is to vacuum our stairs. I do accomplish the stairs with the regular Dyson but lugging that big thing up and down the stairs and vacuum to narrow surface area stairs is quit the work out at times. Anyways, this past week, a Dyson handheld vacuum came out on woot. {If you haven't heard about woot.com, it's one of Ryan's favorites - one item per day, usually at a steep discounted price and a flat $5 shipping fee regardless of whatever it is you are buying.} Ryan and I decided to splurge and buy it.

Our Dyson DC 35 arrived this week. It was rather exciting. {I know, it's kind of nerdy to get excited about a vacuum, but it's true!}

What even more exciting, it that Ryan was so excited that he immediately had to put it to use. The sound of a vacuum, not being run by me, cleaning out cat liter in the basement was like music to my ears :) Here is what it looks like when it is all assembled. {So excited to not have to vacuum stairs with the big vacuum anymore!}
